Some Wisdom

I am reading a playwright called Pirandello (Ramon should know who I am talking about), and am finding him pretty fascinating. Here is a nice quote I found very exciting and pertinent to life in general, and to our blog in particular. Don't go too anal about it, just some food for thought (and encouragement for reading Pirandello!). Also, if either Andreas Bakkerud and/or Kip Sumner reads this, be this quote grounds for rapprochement!

"For me drama exists in one thing-the knowledge that each of us believes himself to be a single individual. But it's not true. Each of us is many individuals, many-each of us has many possibilities of being. We are one thig for this person, and another for that, and each of them is quite different. Yet we suffer under the illusion that we are the same person for everyone. But it's not true. Not true. We percieve this-perhaps tragically-when we suddenly find ourselves caught in mid-act. And realize that not every possibility in us was involved in that act. It would be an atrocious injustice to be judged by that act alone-to be held responsible to it throughout eternity-to be pillored- as if all of our existence had been summed up-in that one act."

Me

Another miserable pub version of Liverpool defeat... 3-0 without heart and passion displayed is making me feel dejected..

Last week I went to Whirling Dervishes and that was just amazing, expecially if you go deep into the symbols and purpose of their actions. Since they kindly asked us not to take pictures and videos my manners told not to do so, thereby I provide you with this Google search picture!
If you really want to know more about them, the order and ideas please follow this link

Otherwise Laszlo you should definitely download LimeWire if you haven't yet and get all the "by moonlight we ride" songs (for the authors and titles e-mail me). Alejandro there comes a photo of me and some of my friends in a fucking beatiful night club here, called "Tramps"Not in mood for writing anything sagacious, just tired from a whole fucking week of hard work... take care guys

Thursday

Ah, shit, man!
Yesterday evening we went out with some friends to a thing dubbed "bar night" here on campus, but anyway, the point is as follows.
I met a classmate of mine from our social science class where I am a smart-ass of sorts, he was a cool dude, I thought; he was fairly drunk, and came to me:

"Hey, yoyo [or something equivalent], boy, you gotta help me write my paper for tuesday"
"Hmmm...what would I get in exchange?"
"whatever"
"Alright, one blow job per 500 words.", I said as a jest, which would obviously be taken as such.
"Sure, no problem!"
"Oooo..., but you pay first!", said I, still in an impish mood.
"I pay, you deliver! Haha"

Half an hour later he was still suspiciously resolute:
"I pay you deiver, haha!"

Shit, man, I thought. Wtf is wrong here?

This morning it dawned on me with the aid of facebook he was "interested in men".

Arrghhh!!! Damn!

P.S. The above story is not aimed at the gay community, rather, at my idiocy and tough luck as such.

Sunday

Some sentimental shit

I was just going through my hard drives as I am having a break from business assignment and I found these... When we all took e-systems, were without worries, and not even thinking about university...

Enjoy

Wednesday

Back to blogging and some wisdom

I just realised that I haven't posted for a very long time . Then again I was into the uni things and social experiences so my time was spread to the max.
Anyhow to begin with, I got a bit annoyed with all this Halloween crap. I dunno about US but we had Halloween parties since last Friday until yesterday, which would make it 5 days. As myfriend Nemanja pointed out ages ago people would always try to find a reason to celebrate and not work. Before I forget I got visited by a special Dane, (who came with the cheapest transport ever)

Apart from trying to convince me that life in Manchester is better and more lively than the one in London (hahhahahaha) and telling me the very cheapest ways to travel and buy food (bananas are the cheapest fruit in UK!!!), suprisingly enough he mentioned the immigrants and we had an intellectual discussion about it with me concluding that I would just LOVE to see him with a paege girl and enjoy the situation (sort of a feeling when Rami finally got some principles through his spiritual rise). And our good old Bakkerud also went back to Flekke, had a chat with Reidun and a bad look from Kip. Personally I don't see a point in going back there but then again we are all entitled to opinions.

Oh yeah, Halloween. So I discovered that there is a discipline here in Britain called bubbing ( I might be spelling it wrongly but who cares?). So you take a huge plastic bowl which has circular shape and you fill it in with beer until half of its volume. Then you put a lot of apples inside and play a game. Rules are simple - you need to take out the apple by only using your mouth and the one that gets least wet from this attempt wins. Interesting , eh? One point about hall parties here in UK. From what I can understand, and after being on quite a few I think I understand it pretty well, it is something similar to the good old cabin parties with a few differences of course. Firstly, 95 % of people are Brits. Secondly they are by far more inventive when it comes to drinking ( Nordics are peasants, it's a fact) and lastly your rooms are just there so.... no need to draw it for you.

Personally, I am doing some work and I started looking for a proper job so apart from that nothing that I would otherwise announce. Maybe the fact that I got extremely chenged on Monday night, it held me until Tuesday afternoon!

Personal messages:

Ramon, you are lazy and full of lousy excuses - my friend Layla made the 'Al Muharib Al Uahid' drawing for me, just searching for a right zippo shop now!

Ale, I was lazy myself, pictures coming up soon

Eduuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, once again I will use this blog to congratulate you that you are finally 19!2 more years and maybe some fun in US, eh? (something personal)

Mama Malda sorry for disappearing will call you soon.

Laszlo I know that you just LOVE my sagaciousness, so here is a wise word for you when(if) you are looking for a girlfriend:
"If a girl can't look after her feet
she can't look after you" - The WSS
P.S I know that you all care so much but Liverpool won 3rd time in a row last night with an astonishing 3-0 against Bordeaux. Three cheers for Rafa Benitez.
P.P.S Trk&Mary where are you?
